yeah IM BACK from ATC.had many things to say.
DAY 1
reached pulau ubin around noon time and walked estimated 4.2km in to the campsite.and it was tiring okay,carrying my heavy bag, 1.5litres bottle, shoebag and a dowel stick. me, germaine and jessica with three PLMGSS girls volunteered to go northings and collect solid fuels and ran back to baru. we were divided into our groups and were asked to pitch tents.im in the same tent as jialing, rosalind, tracy and another ZHONGHUA and PLMGSS girls.yeah and we spent quite a long time to finish pitching all 10 tents as some of the materials are missing. and we had dinner after that.cooked maggie mees but in the end never eat as yuting put curry chicken inside it and i dont like. were asked to eat with the guys and we reluctantly did so, as it was first day. had icebreaking and were asked to remember all our groupmates names.let me recall: shakila, maureen, veronica, clement, jason, cyrus, samuel, chaiwee, yamin, hiker, daniel. hm should have 4 more but forgotten their names already.so sad i have a bad memory. played icebreaking games like scissors paper stones, and PASSING RUBBER BAND THROUGH A STRAW PUT IN MOUTH.it was like so malu okay.imagine the girls were being asked to stand in between boys and pass to them :/ went to bed after that and we couldnt sleep, and we counted down to sirius birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIRIUS (:
DAY 2
woke up quite early and washed up.had breakfast and thinked of a name for our groups.the girls wanted shoesunited and the guys wanted bananas.lame larh both of us (: but in the end the girls were VERY kind and agreed to the guys decision.and our group cheer was BANANA UNITED. had ATF after that and we went to northings to collect our helmets everything and walked back to baru again. yeah and we started doing low ropes obstacles first, followed by maze, shooting and rock climbing. i gave up the rock climbing half way as i had a phobia since i fell down last year :/ had lunch and kayaking after that. it was a two-person kayat and i was grouped with a guy from my group which i forgotten his name.we kayat all the way about 400-500m away from shore and formed a raft.me and fional were beside each other and we splashed water.haha. but when we were kayaking halfway, the guy suddenly say he wanted to vomit so we kayat back to shore and i followed him back to baru to the medics.met shalini and lixian there,they were in medics too (: then sir asked me why am i doing there so i told him.but in the end i was to stay in medics too as the sir found my legs were bleeding from the scratching against sands, called it abrassion.yeah and so me shalini and lixian sand songs and cheered there. lixian asked sir to leave the medics when her group was back and i followed. but my group was still out there kayaking and i was left alone when they need to assemble.but KIND AHMA stayed back to accompany me wait for them (: in the end we were pumped after all groups assembled as group 1 to 6 got boys leave their clothes and shampoo in the toilet and nobody confessed to it.actually got one half hour dinner time but was reduced to 25mins since the boys didnt confess.and my groups needed to wash up, except me of course, so i HAVE TO COOK FOR THEM, both guys and girls. but lucky got GOOD LITTLE SIRIUS who help me with it. after we cooked for them, the guys suddenly become so good and help us wash up the utensils (: YEAH THANK YOU. had campfire after that and came back to baru for briefing and LIGHTS OUT! had duty about 4am bt was late for 22mins when yuting couldnt find me.WEIRD.
DAY 3
LAST DAY! had breakfast with guys again and we talked so much. its like we suddenly became good friends lorh.haha but time was not long so we had to finish breakfast fast.had cleaning of camp area and my groups was to clean up the tenage area.we have to unpitch 10 tents in 45mins,standardised all foldings and placing.total we took 1hr 5mins.so "pro" right.haha. of course we were asked to pumped.had assembly and we cleared up all the rations and the guys were actually given 2 boxes of rations but in the end only ate half a box of rations.so we take like so much rations back lorh.imagine taking the rations and walk 4.2km. we proceeded to northings where they announced the best female and male campers for sec 2 and 3. yea and it was not from CEDAR.so sad larh. we bidded goodbye to each other and walked back to jetty and to CEDAR.
i dont like yuting okay.she is so irritating larh.
in conclusion, we had fun at ATC although we didnt get to enjoy many activities due to time constraint. and had learnt to have teamwork between boys and girls.here is what i think of my groupmates:
maureen she knows the hang of my nickname fast.SUSU! yeah and is super loves to act.but she loves eating too! [PLMGSS]
shakila she volunteers and answer very enthuly and create a sound for the phoenix (: [PLSMGSS]
veronica my plastic bags manager! she provides me with super lots of plastic bags lorh. and is always there to help me (: [ZH]
samuel talks with a squeaky voice ad loves to act [SG]
yamin very enthu althought kena pumped alot of times [BARTLEY]
hiker at first act cool but in the end very talkative. good friends with samuel and yamin [BARTLEY]
clement so damn quiet lorh.but same group as him when in the maze [MARIS]
jason answer very enthuly and VERY TALL okay [MARIS]
chaiwee very quiet but good friends with clement and jason [MARIS]
cyrus always get into trouble.haiz.same pronounciation with SIRIUS!! [YUYING]
daniel this guy is super crazy can?? always quarrel with me.once i say a sentence he will give a lame comment and couldnt take pumpings - -" [YUYING]
yeah and i can see the two sides of human nature and learnt how to handle people.
